Jessel Green is one of the fantastic green spaces at the heart of the Debden Estate in Loughton.
It is served by the 20 bus every 15/20 minutes and is around a 15 minute walk from Debden Station on the Central Line.
If you are driving to the Fun Day, please do not park on Jessel Drive or any part of Jessel Green itself, and when parking on surrounding roads be careful not to block any residents’ access. The best place to park is on Willingale Road near the allotments and then walk along Jessel Drive - only 3-4 minutes away from the main event.
Now in its seventh year, the Jessel Green Community Fun Day is a celebration where everyone in Loughton and the surrounding areas can come together and enjoy our wonderful green spaces alongside a huge variety of affordable entertainment, food and activities for all the family.

Green Wristbands are FREE and available to children under the age of 5 and one parent/carer to allow access to the Green Zone activities (including under 5's slide/bouncy castle and soft play) as well as certain Red and Blue Zone activities, including certain slides and fairground rides

Red & Blue Tickets/Wristbands are only available for those who are 1.1m or taller. Additional height/age restrictions may also apply on certain activities at the discretion of the activity supervisor to ensure the safety of everyone who takes part.
Some activities not led by main event partners may incur additional charges (such as kite making which is £2 per kit)
The Small Print
While the Jessel Green Community Fun Day is fully insured by the organising partners, we cannot accept liability for any injuries caused or loss/damage to personal items as all participants take part at their own risk. Any child under the age of 18 is the responsibility of their parent/carer at all times and adults must ensure their children are fully supervised while taking part in any of the activities offered.
The word of JGCFD team members and volunteers will be considered final at all times and we reserve the right to confiscate tickets/wristbands without refund from any person who does not comply with instructions given or is otherwise endangering other people’s enjoyment of the day.
