Games on the Green is a brilliant activity for the whole family to drop in to on the way home from school. With activities available for toddlers right up to secondary age children, the whole of the Green comes alive from 3:30-5pm each week with fun games, crafts, activities, snacks and more!
This term we are running some sessions of what children may have missed over the year due to lock down for example Sports Day. We will be on Chingford Green, outside St Peters and St Pauls Church after school. Parents/carers are also welcome.
Parents/carers can drop off children who are primary school aged and above, in the care of trained professional children's/youth workers and our volunteer team, or they can choose to 'stay and play' with any age child, having fun trying out the different activities and games together. Its just like all those parent/toddler groups you went to when they were little, but with activities for all ages.

Prayer club is a chance for the children to listen to different Bible stories, a reflective craft activity that are related to the Bible story we do each week. Then at Christmas and Easter they write and read out prayers at the end of term service. For the summer term we will look at one story for a few weeks and retell the story in front of Key stage 1 and parents which includes songs and prayers.
BBC choir youth is an opportunity for the young people who attend choir practice on a Friday night to build relationship and community as they engage with a number of different activities, sharing meals together and playing epic games and challenges.
Crossover is a project run in the junior school for year 6 to prepare them for the transition to secondary school. Throughout the weeks we follow the story of Moses’ life linking them to different themes they might experience. At the end of the course to foster greater independence and confidence the group are taken out into the local community to complete a challenge to fund and source the food for a celebration meal on a very small budget talking to as many local people and businesses as possible.
RBF co-ordination, prepare and deliver a seven-session course around access to Holy Communion each year for children who wish to explore communion further.
