Monday Club Logo.png

Monday Club happens during school term time at Chingford Parish Church Hall (E4 7EN) from 3:30-4:45pm. Aimed at primary school age children and their parents/carers, but open to younger children if their parent/carer 'stays and plays'!

Each week, there's COVID secure activities for you to enjoy as a family group or that you can drop your child off to enjoy. Either way, its the perfect drop in for on your way home for some FREE fun art and craft activities, challenges, snacks, drinks and fun Bible stories!

Families are free to either 'stay and play' together or to 'drop and go' (please note drop & go places are only available for children of primary school age). Families who stay can complete the activities together at tables so everything can be brought to you to enjoy by our team so everyone stays within their household 'bubble'. Children who are dropped off will form their own 'bubble' led by one of our team.

Pre-registration essential as numbers limited; please note we may not be able to accommodate families who turn up on the day due to ongoing COVID19 restrictions.

It starts with chatting to one another and children can play with the play-dough and toys. A member of Clergy and RBF lead the service with songs, Bible story, craft relating to the story, snack, musical instruments and parachute games.

Prayer club

Every Wednesday lunch time

12:00-12:30pm at Chingford CofE

Year 2s only.

Prayer club is a chance for the children to listen to different Bible stories, a reflective craft activity that are related to the Bible story we do each week. Then at Christmas and Easter they write and read out prayers at the end of term service. For the summer term we will look at one story for a few weeks and retell the story in front of Key stage 1 and parents which includes songs and prayers.

Currently meeting virtually but still having a brilliant time!

Alternate Friday's

BBC choir youth is an opportunity for the young people who attend choir practice on a Friday night to build relationship and community as they engage with a number of different activities, sharing meals together and playing epic games and challenges.

Currently paused due to COVID19

Crossover is a project run in the junior school for year 6 to prepare them for the transition to secondary school. Throughout the weeks we follow the story of Moses’ life linking them to different themes they might experience. At the end of the course to foster greater independence and confidence the group are taken out into the local community to complete a challenge to fund and source the food for a celebration meal on a very small budget talking to as many local people and businesses as possible.

Due to restart in 2021...

Communion prep

RBF co-ordinate, prepare and deliver a seven-session course around access to Holy Communion each year for children who wish to explore communion further.

Next group will be running in 2021...
