FREE GROCERIES
Red Balloon Foundation are committed to supporting families who are experiencing hardship due to the COVID19 outbreak. We are delighted to be working with St. Peter's to offer 'Boxes of Hope' to local families during Advent (December) 2020.
A St. Peter's Box of Hope contains a variety of staple groceries including tinned foods, tea/coffee, cereal, rice, pasta, toiletries and cleaning supplies plus sanitary & baby products (where required).
The scheme is perfect for households for whom affording or getting out to do the weekly shop at the moment is a challenge because of how COVID19 has affected them.

PETERHOUSE TODDLERS
Every Friday 10:00 until 11:30am (school term time)
We are really excited to announce that toddler group will be starting up on Friday 2nd October. You will need to sign up to the group as we can only have 15 individual families/carers with their children.
During the session there will be time for worship songs with actions, Bible story, craft time, a snack for the children and a time to catch up with one another.
FRIDAY CLUB
Friday Club is a brilliant activity for the whole family to drop in to on the way home from school. With activities available for toddlers right up to secondary age children, the whole Church comes alive from 3:30-5pm each week with fun games, crafts, activities, consoles, snacks and more!
Parents/carers can drop off children who are primary school aged and above in the care of trained professional children's/youth workers and our volunteer team, or can choose to 'stay and play' with any age child, having fun trying out the different activities and games together. Its just like all those parent/toddler groups you went to when they were little, but with activities for all ages.
During the session, there are also moments of gathered time where larger groups will come together for games and to think about a story from the Bible which families can join in with or carry on doing other activities.
4F Project
RBF are working with the team from St. Peter's to run the "4F" project - Fun, Faith, Friendship and Food - on a regular basis.
On arrival, families will be directed to their own table where they will take part in an interactive and fun cookery workshop, creating a tasty meal together and having a chance to hear a fun story from the Bible and do some art & craft activities while they enjoy what they've made all in a fully COVID secure setting.
4F sessions are entirely free but due to COVID19 restrictions we are limited on the number of people who can attend so places must be pre-booked.
Workshop sessions will run at 4pm on the following dates:
30th October 2020
with more to come soon!
